This car (chassis no. AM300/3/1364 and engine no. DBA/985) was ordered new in 1957 for the American market, left-hand drive. In 1972, it was in the heart of Hollywood, in the hands of Michelle Zukovsky, a renowned clarinettist who is still alive.
The Californian climate helped to preserve the car's overall good condition (bodywork, paintwork and underpinnings). When the second owner acquired the car in 2007, it needed a complete restoration (as it was still all original), which was carried out in 2010 in the Czech Republic. The current owner purchased the car in 2020.
No trace of an accident has been found, most of the original body panels have been preserved, as has much of the interior fittings, and everything is functional and in keeping with the original.
The car is fitted with a new Lucas electrical system and has just undergone a major overhaul for sale. No costs are involved and the car runs regularly.
