The Range Rover went into production in 1970 and was the first luxury franchise in Europe. Aimed at the gentleman farmer of the Midlands, and the rural bourgeoisie in general, the Range Rover was based on the Land Rover Series chassis, offering great off-road capability in a luxurious package. The Range Classic underwent a number of aesthetic and technical changes throughout its career, until 1996, when its replacement (the P38) was launched.

Our example was produced during the last years of the Range Classic's commercial life. Equipped with the noble 180bhp 3.9-litre EFI V8, this Range has undergone serious mechanical maintenance. It is in excellent overall condition and benefits from a magnificent Ardennes green configuration.

The car was delivered new in Spain. The first Spanish owner kept this Range until June 2020, when the current owner imported it to France.

Condition :

General: This Range Rover is in excellent condition, both mechanically and cosmetically.

Exterior: The bodywork is in superb condition, with original Ardenne green paintwork. The rear window was replaced in May 2021. The wheels, headlights, windows and other exterior components are in excellent condition.

Interior: The interior is extremely well preserved. The upholstery is in very good condition, and the seats provide a high level of comfort and very good seating. The carpets are in good condition. All the instruments are functional.

Powertrain: The top engine has benefited from recent work, and starts up and runs very well. Suspension, transmission and braking are good. This Range Rover is fitted with a new stainless steel line, which is much more durable than the original steel one.

Underbody: The body and chassis of this franchiser are totally sound.
