The BMW 2500 is powered by a powerful 2.5-litre six-cylinder engine. This series is presented as a response to the Mercedes-Benz, which has dominated the luxury car sector since the late 1920s. It was with this model that BMW made its mark on the luxury saloon market.

Our example is a second hand 1972, French origin, in excellent condition. This 2500 has undergone extensive restoration work and extensive care by its current owner.

Condition :

General: This BMW is in excellent overall condition and has benefited from extensive restoration and servicing.

Exterior: The car is in excellent condition. The bodywork has been stripped, fully treated and then repainted in its original colour by a top quality coachbuilder. The paintwork shows no marks or traces of impact. The chrome is in very good condition and some parts have recently been replaced. The wheels are in very good condition.

Interior: The interior is in very good condition. All the on-board equipment is functional.

Powertrain: The engine runs perfectly and the car starts normally both hot and cold. Gear changes are normal and smooth. The clutch was also changed during the restoration. The two twin carburettors were restored and synchronised by a specialist (Ferrari).

Frame and underframe : The underbody is in excellent condition. The car shows no signs of perforating corrosion or even surface rust. The running gear has been replaced. More photos are available on request.


Consumables: The front and rear Atrezzo Sailon tyres were purchased and fitted in July 2020. Oil, coolant and brake fluid levels are good.
