General: This XKR presents itself to you in very nice condition.
Exterior: The bodywork of this Jaguar is in very good condition. The specific Celestial Black paintwork is well preserved, and there are no particular defects other than a slight difference in color on the front bumper. The wheels are in excellent condition, with only the right-hand rear wheel showing signs of ageing. The car's left headlight is in excellent condition, while the right needs cleaning.
Interior: This car's interior is particularly well preserved, with only a very slight trace of use on the driver's seat reinforcement. In addition to their superb effect, the aluminum parts are in excellent condition, as is the alcantara headliner. All on-board equipment is functional.
Mechanical: The engine was changed in 2017, and starts up well and delivers all its power. Suspension, transmission and braking components are in good condition. Finally, roadholding is very good.

This special "Portfolio" edition of the XKR boasts a number of distinctive features. The exterior features a polished aluminum front air intake and special Celestial Black paint. On the chassis side, the braking system has been upgraded. Finally, inside, the XKR Portfolio is the first Jaguar to feature a Dolby Pro sound system with Bowers & Wilkins speakers.
Our example was imported to France in 2010. The current owner, who acquired it in 2013, has invested heavily over the last few years. Of particular note is the engine changed in 2017 and the paintwork redone in 2021.

In 2005, the Jaguar «X100» passed the baton, after nine years of career, to the «X150». And this is much more than a simple transition from one generation to another: if the original XK8 and XKR still exploited them the foundations – although deeply updated – of the XJS, The second-generation XK is unmistakably modern, adopting a structure and body entirely made of aluminum, like the contemporary XJ sedan. For its part, the design, if it remains faithful to the codes of the big tourism, gives a reinforced road footprint to the new model, more charismatic than the old one. Under the hood of the new XK are huddled the 4.2 liter V8 of its predecessor, in atmospheric version or, as here on the XKR, with the reinforcement of a Roots compressor which allows to gain nearly 40% of power and to shamelessly handle the Aston Martin DB9 or Mercedes CL 500, this great traveler combining like no other sportiness, luxury and versatility of use!
