History: This TR3 was delivered new to the United States in 1958. It spent part of its life in California. In 2011, it was imported to France and acquired by its current owner. The latter has an extensive file of invoices and documents dating from its previous life across the Atlantic.

Condition :
General: The car presents a beautiful condition. It is very well preserved.

Exterior: Apart from a rubbing mark on the left rear wing, the bodywork is in good condition. The paintwork, in "British Racing Green", is in good condition overall, although a few signs of age are visible. The wheels are in excellent condition, as is the chrome. The bonnet structure is solid and the bonnet itself is in very good condition, as are the side screens. It should be noted that the tonneau cover was changed in 2010 by the previous owner and is now in very good condition.

Interior: The car's interior is very well preserved. The upholstery and dashboard are in very good condition. The carpets are also in very good condition. All the on-board instrumentation is functional.

Powertrain: This TR3 has electronic ignition, a high-performance starter, a stainless steel exhaust and many other improvements. The 4-cylinder engine works very well. It's mated to a much more recent 5-speed gearbox from Toyota. This makes the car easier to use and gives it an extra gear. Overall, the car's handling is very good.

Underbody : The underpinnings of the car are sound and free from corrosion. Photos are available on request.
