Triumph Tr5 Pi 1968 / Manual

This TR5 is in excellent condition: it runs perfectly and looks very well preserved since its last restoration.

The bodywork is in excellent condition. The car originally left the factory in "Royal Blue" (code 56). The paintwork was professionally redone in 2009 in "Signal Red". It is in very good condition today. The reinforced spoked wheels (72 spokes) look very good, as do the headlights. Note that the car is fitted with long-range and fog lamps. The chrome is brilliant and the soft top, in very good condition, ensures a perfect seal. The vehicle also has a luggage rack.

The interior is in excellent condition. The car is fitted with leather seats (original option), perfectly stretched and without a single tear. The varnished wood dashboard is a real eye-catcher. It is also fitted with an elegant Moto-Lita three-spoke steering wheel and a car radio with electric aerial. All the instruments are fully functional.

Mechanically, this TR5 was completely rebuilt during its restoration. The engine works perfectly and is mated to a 4-speed gearbox with overdrive, making for a more enjoyable ride. The brakes are fitted with ventilated front discs and aviation-style flexible hoses, with DOT5 silicone brake fluid. The tyres, Vredestein Sportrac, show only 20% wear.

Underbody: The car's underpinnings are sound and free from corrosion. Photos are available on request.
