Historial
The BMW M3 E30 Group A, launched in 1987, was designed by BMW Motorsport with the sole aim of homologating an ultra-competitive racing car for the French and European Touring Car Championships. It dominated world motorsport for five years, racking up an unrivalled list of achievements including two world championship titles (WTCC) and multiple victories at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Having become an icon thanks to its multiple victories on the circuit and in rallies, it defined the compact sports saloon segment before being discontinued in 1991.
This model was built by "Delage caisse Matter". With numerous rally appearances, this M3 was completely restored in 2005.
Assembled new at Hugues Delage, it then raced under his ownership (technical passport available) and won the French 2nd division rally championship in 1994 and 1995, before being sold to Trojani, a Corsican driver. An expert report dating from 1998, drawn up at the time of sale, is available.
The car was then acquired by Jean-Louis Langlade, also a former driver. The current owner purchased it in 2019. Since 2022, the car has competed in several VHRS competitions such as the Rallycircuit de la Sainte-Baume, the Rallye du Var and the historic Tour de Corse. Its entire pedigree is fully documented, with numerous supporting documents: official documents, maintenance and repair invoices.
This model has therefore had the opportunity to compete in numerous official competitions. In 2004, the crew crashed off the road. The chassis was not damaged, but everything else was. So, in order to continue the following season in 2005, the car had to be refurbished. A complete rebuild was carried out by Francis Dosières, former French hill climb champion and M3 Group A specialist. The car was fitted with a new MATTER body, incorporating all the latest developments of the time. It is a genuine MATTER body, with a race-controlled weight of 1,105 kg.

Estado general
This car is currently in remarkable condition. The bodywork is in very good condition and free of corrosion. The alignment and adjustments are good. The white paintwork is perfectly smooth and features stickers from Yacco, the main sponsor. The rims are well preserved. The headlight lenses show no particular defects. This model is equipped with additional long-range headlights.
Inside, the car is equipped with a roll cage, two Recaro bucket seats, OMP 5-point harnesses, an intercom and all the other equipment necessary for a crew competing in official competitions. All the on-board components are functional.
The "S14" engine starts normally, is responsive and revs freely. It is equipped with a Delage carbon intake and aviation hoses. The dog clutch gearbox shifts smoothly. The car handles excellently on the road. The car is sold with a set of new rain tyres and two additional rims.
Although this model has not competed in official races for several years, the owner insists that his M3 must still be serviced by recognised professionals. To this end, Garage Joffroy, a specialist in rally car preparation, was chosen in 2022.
