Historial
The 1600 HF is the culmination of the Lancia Fulvia. Beyond its atypical V4 engine, it was innovative for its time with its front-wheel drive. Its lightweight design combined with a sharp chassis gives it extraordinary potential in rallying. In this regard, the Fanalone is eligible for the most prestigious historic rallies (Monte Carlo, Tour Auto, Mille Miglia, etc.).
Our example is a genuine Fulvia 1600 HF Fanalone. It is a compliant customer competition version, never modified and never restored in terms of bodywork! Only the paintwork has been redone, as well as the original mechanics. The code 818540 specific to Fanalone cars can be found. It is a reliable car, ready to cover any distance. It was built in 1970 and delivered to its first owner in Italy in 1971. It then spent a few years in Spain before arriving in France, where it had two successive owners. It is currently in the hands of a careful collector who had the engine rebuilt in early 2022.

General: Excellent condition Exterior: The bodywork is in good condition. The paintwork was redone 20 years ago and has stood the test of time well. It was a cosmetic job, very well done. The bodywork has never been touched. There is some minor wear and tear. The bodywork has never been modified for rallying. The car still has its aluminium doors and rear plexiglass windows. Interior: The interior is in good condition and very pleasant to use as the car does not have a roll cage at the front. This allows you to better enjoy the interior of the Fanalone, which is much more elegant than that of the Fulvia Series 2. Its bucket seats are comfortable. Mechanics: the original engine was completely restored in 2020. Since then, it has been run in and the car has covered 5,000 km. The mechanics work very well, the engine starts easily, its acceleration is powerful and has a very pleasant sound. The 5-speed gearbox (with reverse gear) is very smooth, and the gears synchronise well. The road holding is excellent and very stable, thanks to the specific running gear reserved for Fanalones. Tyre production date: 2008 & 2015. Undercarriage: The car has never undergone any structural restoration and remains in good condition overall, with a few minor details. A small patch of sheet metal may be needed on the driver's side floor. The seller wishes to present the car in its current condition for maximum transparency.
