History :
This 1963 Lancia Flaminia 3C GT Touring Superleggera is an outstanding example of Italian engineering and design. Designed by the Touring coachbuilder, it combines elegance and performance. Only around 600 were produced between January 1962 and September 1963, underscoring the rarity of this example. Delivered new in Italy, this car belonged to Nike before passing through several owners and arriving in the hands of the current owner, who undertook extensive mechanical work in 2022.

Condition:
General: The overall condition of this Lancia is excellent.

Exterior: The bodywork is in near Touring factory condition. The paintwork is in an "Argento Auteuil" shade that suits it particularly well, and is also in excellent condition. The chromes throughout the car, perfectly arranged, are reminiscent of Italian chic and show off a beautiful shine. Rims and hubcaps are in excellent condition, as are the car's typical headlamps.

Interior: The interior is also in excellent condition. The red leathers on the doors and seats contrast beautifully with the exterior and are in excellent condition, tightly stretched, with no tears or discoloration. The roof lining shows the marks of the years, but is still in excellent condition, while the beige carpets are in superb condition. On the dashboard, black imitation leather is in excellent condition, as is a section painted the same color as the exterior, also in superb condition. The wooden steering wheel is in excellent condition, with a beautiful patina. The on-board instrumentation is of course functional.

Powertrain: Our example is part of the second production series of the Flaminia GT Touring, and as such the V6 benefits from 3 twin-barrel carburetors bringing power to 140hp. A great deal of work was carried out in 2022, including the replacement of numerous parts and a complete overhaul to ensure optimum performance. The gearbox delivers smooth, crackle-free shifts. This car offers a very good driving experience.
