The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow was launched in 1965 at the London Motor Show, marking a historic revolution for the brand. Indeed, this Rolls-Royce now benefits from a monocoque with rear suspension and coil springs, and is equipped with power-assisted disc brakes on all four wheels. Another significant revolution is that the Silver Shadow is designed to be driven by its owner rather than a chauffeur.
It is one of the most affordable Rolls-Royces on the market; the reliable 6.75L V8 engine makes driving enjoyable thanks to hydraulic suspension and automatic ride height control. It's quite astonishing to access so much luxury and equipment for such a price!
Our example - chassis LRX24561 - was delivered new in June 1976 in France and has only 46,000 original kilometers. It is one of the last in the series. The car remains in its original configuration, retains all its original equipment, and has undergone significant refurbishment.
In addition to a comprehensive standard service, all hoses have been replaced, brakes overhauled, ignition system revised, and the vehicle has passed its MOT for sale. The hydraulic system operates perfectly, window motors are in place and functional, the car is regularly used, and will require no expenses for its future owner.
It's worth noting that this Silver Shadow is sold with a 6-month CarJager mechanical breakdown warranty.
