History
This 1998 Jaguar XKR, the model's first year of production, is a rare and sought-after example. It has been maintained throughout its life. It has only had a handful of owners, all of whom are passionate about the British marque. It has the correct mileage and all the equipment is in working order. An XKR preserved in its original condition, with a clear history.
Conditions
Generally in good working order, roadworthy and sound. However, there are a number of cosmetic defects to be expected.
Exterior
The bodywork shows visible imperfections: a marked dent with a scratch on the driver's door, scratches on the front left bumper and superficial marks on the rear wing. The original blue paintwork remains uniform throughout the car, with no visible corrosion. All the windows are original.
Interior
Interior in generally good condition, as new. Clean, light-coloured leather upholstery with a few traces of use, but no dents. Burr walnut dashboard, complete and well preserved. Original wood/leather steering wheel with localised wear. The headlining has come off, as is often the case with this model.
Mechanical
Compressed 4.0 V8 engine in good working order. Starts well, runs smoothly. Smooth automatic gearbox. Road holding is sound. No warning lights. It can be used straight away.
