The mechanical breakdown warranty applies to the majority of vehicles, with the following exceptions:
- Vehicles registered outside the European Union
- Vehicles already covered by a third-party warranty (financing, manufacturer warranty, etc.)
- Vehicles intended for competition or having undergone significant modifications
- Sales made to automotive professionals

CarJager provides a mechanical breakdown warranty on all managed sales, stock, and auction vehicles, covering various mechanical failures. This warranty can be extended for added protection. Our warranty has no power restrictions and applies to all cars sold through CarJager, including classic vehicles and GT/supercars. This coverage is designed to give you peace of mind from day one. Our warranty covers your car across France and Europe, and repairs can be carried out at a professional of your choice.
To activate the CarJager mechanical breakdown warranty, follow the instructions provided when you receive your car. The warranty is automatically activated once we verify the car's mileage, ensuring immediate and reliable protection for your classic or GT car.
Our claims manager AFFINICAR guides you through the process. Simply click the 'Report My Claim' link on your contract and present the latest maintenance record (oil change with filter replacement) dated within the last 12 months (except for professionals) within 5 business days of the mechanical breakdown. No work or disassembly is required without the manager's approval. There's nothing more to pay, just sign the warranty contract!
Warranty extensions for Classic Cars:
- Higher coverage limit: Up to €10,000 incl. VAT for extended protection, unlimited claims and no deductible.
- More covered parts: Up to 93 parts, including essential mechanical elements.
