History
Vehicle manufactured and registered in California until 2021, so it's a "Black Plate". Exported to France in 2021 by the company "Socal Frenchiez" (see presentation of the car on video #144 of their YouTube channel at 19min 37sec). Sold in France by the garage "Centrale Auto Marché / L'Atelier Mustang" in Boulazac (Dordogne). Currently registered in my name.
Conditions
This Mustang is a real time capsule: in perfect condition (sound original floors, no corrosion, all functional equipment including the original radio converted to French FM).
Exterior
The bodywork is in very good condition: it is very likely to be its original paintwork. The side members are in perfect condition. 16-inch Mag 500 alloy wheels (but I still own the original 14-inch sheet metal wheels and wheel covers).
Interior
The interior is in excellent condition, as evidenced by the original dashboard, roof lining and upholstery. I still have the plastic carpets that came with the car. Motolita wooden steering wheel (but I still have the original bakelite steering wheel, covered in leather by a professional saddler)
Mechanical
The running gear, suspension and brakes were all rebuilt. The transmission has been replaced by a Tremec 5-speed (but I've kept the original 3-speed gearbox and driveshaft). The engine starts perfectly cold/hot and the car drives any distance (including motorway). The exhaust system has just been replaced by a custom stainless steel system (including the headers, I've kept the original headers for sale)
The description of the vehicle is based on information provided by the seller, who remains solely responsible for the condition of the vehicle. CarJager verifies their consistency.
Car options and equipment
- Circuit breaker
- Hardtop
- Jack
- Overdrive
- Spare wheel
