History
This Aston Martin DB4 Series IV Vantage was delivered new on 14 May 1962 by Garage Mirabeau in Paris to its first owner, Mr Suetet. The history of this French Aston Martin is well known and complete, the car has had 4 French owners and its maintenance history is well documented.
Conditions
We have its original owner's manual - in French - its factory build sheet and a large file of invoices dating back to 1971.
Its colour configuration - Aegean Blue with cream leather interior - is rare and sought-after. The car has the original Vantage specification, is equipped with overdrive, long gear ratios and a DB4 GT silencer.
The car is true to original: the keystrokes are good, the lower engine is matching numbers and the upper engine has numbers from the same year (non-matching).
Chassis number: #DB4957L
Engine number: 370/461
Still in its original condition (except for a paint fade), the car is in good and sound general condition. Purchased 3 years ago by the current owner, the car is well maintained and runs well. Recently appraised, we can confirm that the car is one of the rare DB4 Series IVs delivered new in France in near-original condition.
A CT will be carried out for the sale.
