General: The expert recommends buying the car in view of its condition. It is in very good general condition and has retained its factory configuration. Sold with its original hardtop, the car does not require any expenses and is ready to take to the road.
Mechanicals: This 230 SL has undergone a conclusive road test. The gearbox, clutch (recently overhauled) and synchros work well, and the car accelerates and brakes straight. The last full service was less than a month ago (oil changes, spark plugs, filters, clutch, etc.).
Interior: The interior is in very good condition. The upholstery is tight and little worn. The expert rates the carpets and soft top as being in good general condition.
Exterior: The bodywork and hardtop are in excellent condition. The paintwork has no major defects, the alignments are good and the car is rust-free.
Underbody and chassis: Sound, with no rust or corrosion.
