History: This Saab is a second-hand vehicle. The current owner acquired it in 1996. Since then, the car has been driven infrequently, but many expenses were incurred in 2017 to get it back on the road and to ensure it is in good condition.

Condition:
General: The overall condition of the car is very good.

Exterior: The bodywork of the car is very beautiful. The paint is in very good overall condition. In 2017, some body panels were repainted. The soft top is waterproof and very well-tensioned. A replacement of the button to operate it will be needed. The rims show signs of age but remain in good condition. The headlights are in excellent condition.

Interior: The interior is very well-preserved. The leather seats are not sagging and provide comfortable seating. Note that they are heated and electrically adjustable! The dashboard is also in very good condition and all the instruments and equipment the car is equipped with are functional.

Mechanics: After a long period without being driven, the car was restarted in 2017. Today, it drives very well. The engine, with the help of the turbo, revs without hesitation and the gearbox, replaced a few years ago, shifts smoothly. Overall, the car's road behavior is very good. A kill switch has been installed under the hood.

Undercarriage: The undercarriage of the car is healthy and free of rust. Photos are available upon request.

In the production of the second half of the twentieth century, is there a car more singular, more divisive, more unclassifiable than the Saab 900? We're talking, of course, about the real thing (hence the unofficial name Classic), not the ersatz Vectra-based model that tried in vain to replace it exactly thirty years ago, thus initiating, under the dismal stewardship of General Motors, the process of trivialization of the Swedish firm that led to the fatal outcome we all know. Today, the original 900 is constantly expanding its circle of enthusiasts, while its detractors are becoming increasingly discreet. A car for connoisseurs if ever there was one, the 900 is not for just anyone; its charms appeal more to aesthetes than to thick-skinned roughnecks, and in this case, the cabriolet born of this endearing series embodies a form of absolute climax, skilfully blending sun-drenched hedonism with the machine's traditionally Scandinavian virtues. Could this be the ideal compromise?

Selling a classic car is not easy; buyers are always cautious, which is understandable. The fear of being deceived is real, given the significant amounts sometimes at stake. CarJager supports and advises you throughout the entire sales process. All administrative procedures are fully handled, and the payment is secured. A responsive and available team. It is true that all these services come at a significant cost. But it is probably the price of peace of mind and trust between buyers and sellers.
