History
This rare Mehari 4x4 was delivered new to its first owner on 03 December 1979 and is number 33 of the 1,200 cars produced. Still in its original colour, this Mehari was restored a few years ago and is in superb overall condition.
The engine block (602cm3) is as original and has matching numbers. The transmission is smooth and works perfectly and all the running gear is very clean. The car is structurally sound and free from deformations. There are also no traces of seepage or oil leaks.
Importantly, the differential is not noisy and does not rattle. Everything has been carefully restored and maintained. It's rare to see such a clean and healthy car
The odometer on the dashboard reads 408 hours.
