History
🇫🇷 This Alpine A110 1600 S was delivered new to France by the Renault dealership in Limoges in 1971 and has only had 4 owners.
⚙️ In 2009, the third owner decided to have this berlinetta prepared in Group 4 by coachbuilder Marc Ollier and tuner Raymond Cayol, both of whom had worked on the cars of Jean-Charles Rédélé, son of Jean Rédélé, founder of the Alpine marque.
📄 An extensive file detailing this work is available.
🔑 The third owner kept the car from 2005 to 2014, before selling it to the current owner.
🏁 Until 2019, this car took part in numerous historic races for which it is eligible: Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique, Mans Classic, Tour Auto, Corse Classic, Rallye Andorra and Bordeaux Aquitaine Classic.

Conditions
🚘 During its preparation, the car was completely redone: front and rear end with wing extensions, bonnets, floors, priming of the hull, stripping and painting of the chassis, full paintwork, replacement carpets and upholstery, etc.
Today, the bodywork and paintwork are sound and in very good condition, as is the passenger compartment, which has everything you need to take part in historic races: fire extinguisher, intercom system, stopwatches, bucket seats with harnesses, roll bar, etc.
🔧 The highly reputed tuner Raymond Cayol was responsible for preparing the engine, gearbox and chassis. Nothing was left to chance so that the car would have the best possible performance and reliability:
Engine rebuild based on the R12G with new components and re-boring to 1796 cm3 (from 125 to 185 bhp),
Total overhaul of the Type 364-06 5-speed "Monte Carlo" gearbox with new components, revised synchronisation and gear ratios with normal and rally gear ratios (short gearbox),
Overhaul and improvement of the "big brakes" braking system,
Steering revised,
Transmission reinforced,
Suspensions,
Refurbishment of the wiring harness
..
The owner states that the car is in very good mechanical condition and drives very well.
🛞 Tyre production date: 2015.
