History
This Dodge Challenger is a Rallye edition, the successor to the R/T designation used on earlier vintages, which was discontinued after 1971.
🇨🇦 It left the factory during the model's last week of production and was delivered new to Canada the same year, 1974.
It underwent a full restoration in Canada in 2008.
🇫🇷 Then, in 2020, it was imported to France and subsequently purchased by the current owner.
📸 A report devoted to this example was published in Nitro magazine, issue 303, in January 2020.
📄 In August 2025, the car was appraised. The report is available and confirms the very good general condition of the car.

General state
🚘 The bodywork and paintwork are in excellent condition. The car is fitted with a removable satin black covering surrounding the headlights and grille, recalling the style of the Challenger R/T, as this black finish had disappeared on the Rallye in favour of body colour. This covering gives it a more aggressive, authentic look. The vinyl roof, wheels and chrome components are in very good condition.
The interior is also in excellent condition. Only the top of the dashboard has a crack from exposure to the sun. Apart from that, the upholstery, headlining, door panels, magnificent 'Pistol Grip' gear lever and instrumentation are all in very good condition or perfectly functional.
🔧 Very good mechanical condition, starts without noise or abnormal smoke. Road holding is excellent. The car takes its turns easily and gear changes are fluid.
Maintenance is up to date with gearbox and axle oil changes carried out in June 2025.
The owner points out that the front brakes need to be bled to optimise braking.

After spending weekends in a camper van at automotive events with his grandparents and Sunday mornings watching Automoto with his father, Johan decided to turn his passion into a career. He began as an automotive technician before training in sales to join the CarJager universe. Probably born in the wrong era, he dreams as much of the British elegance of a Jaguar E-Type as of the emotion of a 1960s Ferrari. Today, he assists both sellers and buyers in bringing their projects to life, working with cars from the 1950s to the present day.
