History
Launched in 1996, the Ferrari 550 Maranello marked a historic turning point for the brand by returning to a front-mounted V12 engine layout, thus breaking with 23 years of mid-engined sports cars such as the Testarossa. Designed to offer cutting-edge performance combined with the comfort of a grand tourer, it paid homage to the legendary 365 GTB/4 "Daytona" whilst boasting a sleek design by Pininfarina. It distinguished itself not only on the road but also on the track with successful racing versions, before being succeeded by the 575M Maranello in 2002.
This car was first registered in 2001.

This 550 Maranello is in good overall condition.
🚘The bodywork is in very good condition. The “Argento Nürburgring” grey paintwork is smooth and has a lovely sheen. There is a slight chip on the front bumper. The alloy wheels and headlights are in very good condition. The rear window seal has a cosmetic defect.
The interior is upholstered in dark blue leather. The Daytona seats are in good condition. The dashboard is in good condition, as are the carpets. The headlining is taut. The instruments are in working order.
⚙️The V12 starts normally and revs freely. The 6-speed manual gearbox is precise and pleasant to use. The road holding is excellent.
