History
The Porsche 911 T, initially introduced in 1967 with a 2.0L engine, was the entry-level version. The evolution into the 911 2.2 T appeared for the 1970 and 1971 model years, with displacement increased to 2,195 cm3 and power raised to 125 bhp. This model, often considered the least powerful of the 911s of its generation (which also included the E and S), was distinguished by its carburettor engine (often Zenith) and simpler equipment. Despite its initial positioning, the 911 2.2 T is now a sought-after classic.
