McLaren Senna
Part of the McLaren Ultimate Series lineup, the Senna is a limited-production supercar that debuted in 2018. Its name pays tribute to driver Ayrton Senna, who achieved 35 victories and three Formula 1 World Championships behind the wheel of McLaren single-seaters. It is powered by an evolved version of the 720S’s V8 engine, here tuned to 799 hp.

McLaren Mp4-12c
Unveiled in 2011, the MP4-12C—its name inspired by McLaren’s Formula 1 cars—marked the brand’s entry into the elite circle of regular-production sports car manufacturers. From the outset, McLaren joined the top tier by developing a formidable rival to the Ferrari 458, Porsche 911 Turbo, and Lamborghini Gallardo. Powered by a twin-turbo V8 developed in-house, the MP4-12C served as the blueprint for all modern McLarens.

F.A.Q. Frequently asked questions before buying a McLaren
What was the first McLaren road car?
In 1969, in collaboration with his partner Trojan, Bruce McLaren decided to design a road-going version of his M6 race car prototype. However, only two examples of the M6 GT were ever built, as the project was cut short by McLaren’s death. It wasn’t until 1992 and the McLaren F1—designed by engineer Gordon Murray and produced in a run of about 100 units—that the brand released another car intended for the road.
Who owns McLaren?
The McLaren Group is currently owned by the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
What are the current McLaren models?
In addition to the limited-edition supercars that occasionally appear in its lineup, McLaren’s current range includes seven models: the 750S, the Artura, the GTS, the Senna, the Speedtail, the Elva barquette, and the W1.
Who founded McLaren?
In 1963, New Zealand driver Bruce McLaren founded the team that bears his name and entered his cars in Formula 1 starting in the 1966 season. He died tragically in a crash in 1970 while driving one of his own cars.
How did McLaren build its legend?
Until 1992, McLaren focused almost exclusively on racing, under the leadership of Ron Dennis from 1981 to 2008. The McLaren Formula 1 team is one of the most successful in history, having won the Drivers’ World Championship twelve times and the Constructors’ World Championship nine times. Partnerships with engine manufacturers such as Honda and later Mercedes-Benz, along with the involvement of drivers like Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna, have also bolstered the company’s reputation.
