Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS Touring from 1956 - Beautiful restoration - History known - 6 months warranty
This Alfa Romeo 1900C Super Sprint "Superleggera" is one of only 200 built by Touring in 1956. Our example is in impeccable condition, tastefully restored by specialist workshops. It is in strictly original condition and has its Alfa-Roméo Heritage certificate.
Delivered new in Switzerland in 1956, this 1900 CSS arrived in France in 1970 in the hands of its second owner, where it spent most of its life. Arriving in Belgium in 2003, the car was fully restored by specialist workshops:
- Bare body,
- Complete paintwork (two-tone),
- Complete mechanics,
- Running gear and depreciation,
- Upholstery and carpets,
The car has since been driven regularly and carefully maintained by the Janssens garage in Brussels. A full file is supplied with the car, the restoration archives speak for themselves and a service has just been carried out for the sale.
This Alfa-Romeo is one of the rare cars on the market in such good condition, and remains one of the benchmark models of the 50's for taking part in the finest classic races: Mille Miglia, Tour Auto etc...
The car is currently in Belgian CG.
