Conditions
🚘 The bodywork in superb condition, it has been redone in its original colour. The paint thicknesses are reassuring. The wheels and chrome are in very nice condition too.
The beige leather interior is welcoming, comfortable and elegant. The full leather upholstery is in excellent condition, and the seats and trim have been redone in 2019 in the same beige as the original.
🔧Mechanically:
The Ferrari 400 allows access to the joys of the mythical Colombo V12 for a much cheaper budget than the 365 Daytona or other Ferrari 330s. The engine was restored in 2017, so its operation is very satisfactory. The shock absorbers and brake callipers have also been rebuilt.
The automatic gearbox in the Ferrari 400 is from General Motors, which is reputed to be reliable and pleasant.
Road holding is very good.
We recommend replacing the tyres, as they are old (production date: 2000). These are 15-inch rims, not TRX, so replacing them won't be very expensive (expect to pay €600 to €700 in total for the 4 tyres).
Structurally, the car is sound.
