History
The 350 GT stands out for its elegant design, originally conceived by the coachbuilder Franco Scaglione and subsequently perfected by Carrozzeria Touring. The vehicle’s architecture is based on a lightweight tubular chassis, designed using the ‘Superleggera’ method, ensuring both lightness and robustness. Every line of the car expresses a pursuit of perfection: a subtle blend of sportiness and refinement, coupled with exceptional design quality.
The 350 GTs were fitted with the 3.5-litre V12 engine designed by Bizzarrini.
Of the 120 examples produced, 23 were fitted at the factory with the upgraded 4.0-litre V12, whilst retaining the bodywork of the 350 GT, whose original design is more refined than that of the 400 GT 2+2.

General state
This example is extremely rare as it is one of just 23 cars fitted with the 4.0-litre engine at the factory, also known as ‘Interim’ models.
This superb Lamborghini 350 GT Interim was delivered new in Italy in 1966. The archives confirm that the car was originally red with a black interior, and that its engine, #0409, has a displacement of 3,927 cm³.
#0409 underwent a high-quality restoration between 2010 and 2013. This meticulous work, carried out down to the bare bodywork, was undertaken in Italy by SNC, a Lamborghini specialist coachbuilder based in the town of Nonentola.
The result is stunning. Every detail has been carefully restored or preserved. The high-quality paintwork is flawless, as are the chrome fittings, windows and headlights.
The engine has been completely rebuilt by Top Motors, a renowned workshop now known as Salvioli. It starts perfectly whether cold or warm and has recently been serviced by a brand specialist. The car is powerful, delivers excellent torque, and handles exceptionally well on the road.
The interior, meanwhile, has been refurbished by the factory’s former suppliers using Connolly leather faithful to the original. As a testament to the quality of its restoration, it was awarded Best of Show at a renowned concours d’élégance in April 2025. Around the same time, it underwent a cosmetic finish carried out by the Lecoq body shop.
This Lamborghini is now registered and on display in France. It comes with its French registration document, photographs of the restoration and archives from the Lamborghini factory.
