History
The 350 GT stands out for its elegant design, initially conceived by coachbuilder Franco Scaglione and then perfected by Carrozzeria Touring. The vehicle's architecture is based on a lightweight tubular chassis, designed using the "Superleggera" method, ensuring both lightness and strength. Every line of the car expresses the pursuit of perfection, a subtle blend of sportiness and refinement with exceptional design quality. The 350 GTs were equipped with the 3.5L V12 engine designed by Bizzarrini.
Of the 120 units produced, 23 were factory-fitted with the upgraded 4.0L V12 engine, while retaining the bodywork of the 350 GT, whose original design is purer than that of the 400 GT 2+2.

General state
This example is extremely rare as it is one of only 23 cars fitted with the 4.0L engine by the factory, also known as "Interim".
This superb Lamborghini 350 GT Interim was delivered new in Italy in 1966. The archives confirm that the car was originally red with a black interior, and that its #0409 engine has a displacement of 3927 cm3.
#0409 underwent a high-quality restoration between 2010 and 2013. This meticulous work, starting from the bare chassis, was carried out in Italy by SNC, a Lamborghini specialist body shop in the town of Nonentola. The result is sumptuous. Every detail has been carefully restored or preserved. The high-quality paintwork is flawless, as are the chrome, windows and headlights. The engine has been completely rebuilt by Top Motors, a renowned workshop now known as Salvioli. It starts perfectly when cold or hot and has recently been serviced by a specialist in the brand. The car is powerful, torquey and handles particularly well.
The interior has been reupholstered by the factory's former suppliers with Connolly leather faithful to the original. As a testament to the quality of its restoration, it was voted Best of Show at a renowned elegance competition in April 2025. At the same time, it received an aesthetic finish by the Lecoq body shop.
This Lamborghini is now registered and on display in France. It comes with its French registration document, photos of the restoration and archives from the Lamborghini factory.
