History
This Lancia Ardennes was delivered new in France in 1937. Its history is well documented, with clear traceability since it was first put on the road. The vehicle has benefited from a complete restoration in accordance with the rules of the trade, with supporting invoices. It has invaluable documentation on its past, making it a rare and reassuring example for a lover of pre-war vehicles. This is the only Ardennes coupé in existence anywhere in the world.

General state
This example is in very good condition, ready to take on the road or to be exhibited.
External state
The bodywork has been carefully restored. The red paintwork looks good and gives the car a bright appearance, although there is a small chip visible on the front right wing (see photo). The chrome is bright, well aligned and free from oxidation. The wheel trims and body components are as original. The underbody is clean and sound.
Interior state
The beige leather interior is in generally good condition. The front and rear seats have a nice patina, with a slight weakness visible on the centre seam of the rear bench seat. The door jambs, headliner and dashboard are also in good condition, with the woodwork well preserved. All the period features are present.
Mechanical state
The original engine works perfectly. The car starts immediately and is mechanically sound. It has benefited from rigorous maintenance and technical restoration, particularly in terms of ignition, wiring harness and power supply. The brakes, running gear and steering components are in good condition. A full invoice for the mechanical restoration is available.
