🚘 The bodywork is in superb condition. The paintwork was redone a few years ago in its exact original shade as it should be, with very reasonable and even thicknesses. There are a few very minor imperfections from use, without detracting from this Delta's excellent appearance.

The interior is like the rest: in remarkable condition for its age. The beige velvet upholstery is very well preserved. The front seat fabrics have been redone.

🔧Mechanically: The car is in excellent working order as most of the mechanics have been restored. The engine was restored at a recognised specialist in Italy (Artemio), it has only had 3000 km since then, so it is broken in (cost: €20,000). On this occasion, the engine has benefited from a slight internal preparation, increasing its power from 215 to 250 bhp.
All the wear parts were replaced, right down to the connecting rods. The turbo is also new.

The running gear is in very good condition. The rear cradle has been reinforced. The brakes work well, as originally fitted. This car is fitted with ABS. The unit has been replaced and works well. The brake master cylinder is new. The car is not fitted with a catalytic converter, but the vendor will supply a new one should the next owner wish to install one.

To make the engine more reliable, the air conditioning has been removed. The seller provides a complete air-conditioning kit for anyone who wants to refit it, but the specialist who rebuilt the engine advises against it because there's a known problem: the compressor pulls hard on the belt, and if the belt breaks, it can shift the timing and break the engine.

The transmission (gearbox/transfer case/axle) was dismantled for overhaul. A reinforced clutch was fitted at the same time.

On the road, this Delta is a pleasure to drive, as it runs smoothly and evenly, with no unwanted vibrations or small noises from the fittings.

The owner points out that this car has never been involved in an accident. Structurally, it's a very sound Delta, with no corrosion. It's a real eye-catcher from every angle, even from underneath!
