This Mercedes 280 SL Pagoda was delivered new to its first owner in 1970. Equipped with a manual gearbox, its original hard-top, a 4-seater CG and a pretty colour scheme, this Pagoda is particularly interesting.
Conditions
Restored some time ago, this Pagoda has been meticulously maintained, and a full file of invoices testifies to the quality of the work carried out. The structure is sound and free from corrosion, the paintwork is tight and the alignments are straight.
Two expert reports are on file, confirming the car's overall good condition and conformity.
A series of maintenance and restoration works have been undertaken since 2014 including:
- The mechanics - including the injection pump - work very well.
An engine rebuild invoice dating from 2017 proves the extent of the work carried out
- The soft top has been changed and is in superb condition (2017),
- The upholstery and dashboard are in good condition (redone in 2014),
- The carpets have been changed,
- The exhaust system has been changed,
- Clutch changed,
- New shock absorbers,
