This MG A was delivered to America, where they were a great success. It was restored in the 1980s, with photos to back it up. It arrived in France in 2020, the current owner indicating that he is the 4th to date.

Condition

Exterior: The entire body was restored in 1982. It has been well made and well maintained. Although not perfect, it remains in good condition today. Some will say it could benefit from a body tour, while others will appreciate its current attractive patina. The price is set accordingly. The soft top is good.

Interior: The interior is in excellent condition. The red trim contrasts nicely with the black bodywork. The upholstery and carpets are fine, and have probably already been redone in the course of its life.

Mechanics: The entire mechanical system is in good working order. The engine runs well, with good sealing (in keeping with the standard of early MGs). The gearbox works well. The tires are new, and the brakes have been overhauled. The stainless steel line gives the car more sound character, without being excessive.

Underbody: The underpinnings are sound overall. Photos are available on request.
