History

It's second-hand, originally from Paris, but it found the sunshine of the South of France to be restored by myself.

States

General state

The car is in very good condition and has been restored (interior, exterior and engine)

External state

The bodywork has been fully repainted in British Green racing gn25, it is bright and looks good, no dents or rust. The front bumper is in good condition but the rear has been repainted in metallic grey. The other chrome is nice. The soft top is almost new and waterproof.

Interior state

The interior has been refurbished in black leatherette and looks good. The carpets are in fairly good condition except for one which is a little worn but has not been replaced.

Mechanical state

Original 1275cc engine runs very well, revs well and idles well. Head gasket replaced, carburettors cleaned and adjusted. The timing chain has been replaced and the oil changed. All the gearbox ratios shift well and don't skip. Acceleration is crisp, thanks to the car's 700kg weight. The front and rear bearings have been replaced, as have the spindles and all the silentblocks. There's a bit of play in the steering, which could be corrected by replacing the entire rack and pinion system.
