History
This 1954 MG was imported to France from the United States in 2011. Following its arrival, it was fully restored to the highest standards and has remained in the hands of the same family ever since.
Conditions
Having covered only around 2,000 km since then, you can see this MG TF today in its unrestored condition. A survey was carried out on the car a few years ago. It details the quality of the restoration work carried out.
Exterior
The bodywork of this car is in excellent condition. The black and white paintwork was completely redone at the time of restoration and is still in excellent condition, with no noticeable signs of wear. The black soft top had been replaced and is as good as new. The superb chrome-spoke wheels are in excellent condition, as are the bumpers, headlights and rear-view mirror.
Interior
The interior is also in remarkable condition. The upholstery has been restored and is in excellent condition. The carpets are as good as new. The wooden steering wheel has a superb patina and contributes to the charm of this car. The instruments are functional.
Mechanical
The engine has been completely rebuilt by a specialist and has since covered around 2,000 km. It starts easily and runs particularly well. The gearbox was overhauled at the same time, providing smooth, well-guided gear changes. A stainless steel line has been fitted, and it sounds great.
