History
The 924 Carrera GT, of which 406 were produced, was based on the 924 Turbo, but with a good number of reworked elements: wider wings, Fuchs wheels, upholstery, bonnet, etc. Compared to a simple Turbo version, the technical difference is notable, with the introduction of an intercooler, reinforced pistons, a differently calibrated turbo, etc.
🇫🇷 This is a genuine French Carrera GT, delivered new in 1981. It remained in the hands of the same family until 2014. The second owner then bought it. It is therefore a second-hand car.
📄 An appraisal was carried out on the car in 2019, highlighting its very good overall condition.

General state
🚘 The bodywork and paintwork are in very good condition. The car benefited from a full repaint in its original colour in 2011. We note a few discreet imperfections, which do not compromise the very nice overall appearance of this Carrera GT.
The cabin is beautifully presented. Bucket seats had been fitted by the previous owner, hence the very good condition of the original ones now reassembled. The original steering wheel will be supplied for the sale. All the gauges and instruments are functional.
🔧 Very good mechanical condition. The distribution has just been done when the top engine was rebuilt. This was an opportunity to check the exhaust manifold for cracks and have the original turbo serviced.
The car is very sound and handles very well on the roads.
The underpinnings are protected and show no signs of corrosion.
The tailor-made stainless steel exhaust system makes the car sound better.
The battery is new.
