History

This Renault Turbo 1 (#1197) was delivered new in Germany on 22 May 1981. It has been in France since 2000 and was purchased in 2004 by the current owner. The car currently has 75,000 original kilometres and is in beautiful original condition.

Turbo 1s are rare on the market, with only 1,820 produced between 1980 and 1982. It has a French CG and its manufacturer's certificate of conformity.

This one is interesting because it still has the original paintwork ("Blanc Nacré") and has not been modified (apart from the fitting of a bolted roll bar that can be removed for sale). The dashboard and steering wheel (designed by Bertone) are original, and the interior - fabrics and "fawn" carpets - are original.

The original tinted windows - still present - are a period option.

This Turbo 1 is regularly serviced by a model specialist, and the car will be serviced for sale with a new alternator, an engine oil change and a full check-up.

The original owner's manual is present and we have some invoices and documents in a folder. The MOT was passed in July 2025
