History
Our example was delivered new to its first owner in 1959, a pivotal year for this model as Rolls Royce released the Silver Cloud II. This example is a Silver Cloud I, the last of the British company's models to be produced entirely by hand with its six-cylinder engine, but with all the options found on the SC II (power steering, air conditioning, etc.). In left-hand drive, 262 examples out of a total of 2238 were produced in this version.
This Rolls Royce was fully restored in Poland in 2010 before being purchased and imported to France by its current owner the same year. 87,000 worth of work was carried out.
This car was featured in Olivier Dahan's film "Grace of Monaco" (2014) starring Nicole Kidman.

States
General state
This Rolls Royce is in very good condition. It has been fully restored to a very high standard.
External state
The bodywork is in excellent condition in every respect, and the two-tone bronze and grey paintwork is brilliant. We note some minor defects in the chrome trim. The bumpers, headlights and windows are in excellent condition, in keeping with their original state.
Interior state
The interior is a beautiful combination of luxury and English-style comfort, identical to its original state. The beige leather upholstery is in superb condition, with no holes or tears. The same goes for the carpets and the burr walnut elements on board. We note one hole in the leather rear parcel shelf. All the instruments are functional.
Mechanical state
The six-cylinder Rolls Royce engine, fed by two SU carburettors, runs and starts perfectly both hot and cold. The semi-automatic gearbox shifts smoothly. The car has benefited from regular servicing and its roadholding is very satisfactory.
Underbody: The chassis and structure of this Rolls Royce are sound. Photos are available on request.
