History
The 1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II Drophead Coupé (DHC) epitomises the pinnacle of convertible luxury in the 1960s, marking a major technical transition with the introduction of the 6.2-litre V8 engine. This new aluminium engine block delivered unprecedented power and a remarkably quiet ride, radically transforming performance compared to the previous version. This example is an original factory convertible.
The car was purchased by the current owner some fifteen years ago from a specialist English workshop that restored it.
