This Subaru was delivered new in 1996. The Histovec report allows you to track its history and mileage since 2000. The current owner, a bodywork repairer by trade, bought it five years ago when the car was not roadworthy due to engine failure. His plan was to get it back on the road and ultimately rebuild it almost entirely. Most of the mechanical work was carried out at RSR Vintage, a garage specialising in the restoration of classic cars. In total, the restoration of the car cost around €22,000. It has just passed its MOT test.
This copy is in excellent condition.
The car was originally grey. The owner customised it to his taste, choosing the legendary Subaru metallic blue for its new paint job. The car was stripped down and completely repainted (inside and out). The paintwork is high quality and looks great. The headlight lenses, windows and rims are in excellent condition.
The interior is in very good overall condition. The upholstery looks great. The bucket seats still offer excellent support. All the gauges and various dashboard instruments are in working order.
Today, the car is in very good working order, with excellent road handling. Mechanically, many components have been replaced according to the owner: Engine overhaul, with lower engine replacement, Turbo overhaul,
clutch, cooling system, new silent blocks, steering overhaul, brakes, and geometry to perfect road handling. 🛞 DOT tyres (date of manufacture): 2022.
