History

This AC was delivered new in 1957 in Switzerland with a black body and a red interior; at the time, it was the only one in the country with this specification. It competed in races during the 1950s and 1960s (details at the end of the listing) before being fully restored in 2012. The car has covered just 1,000 km since then and is in concours condition. The engine has just been rebuilt by a specialist (costing approximately €45,000). The car is therefore fully ready to hit the road.

- 02/1957: Delivered in Switzerland to its first owner,
- 1960: Purchased by the second owner in Switzerland,
- 2000: Purchased by the third owner through Christophe Grohe,
- 2022: Purchased by a collector through our agency.

States

General state

The car has undergone a complete restoration (bodywork, interior, engine, running gear, etc.). The expert describes it as being in concours condition.

Exterior: The bodywork is in excellent condition. The car has recently been repainted and the soft top is brand new. The alloy wheels, chrome trim and the rest of the exterior components are also brand new.

Interior: Like the bodywork, the upholstery and interior have been fully restored and are in superb condition. All components are in working order and both original keys are present.

Mechanics: The rebuilt engine is in excellent working order. The transmission and braking components are new. The car is fitted with an overdrive.

Chassis and underbody: This AC has an extremely sound structure and chassis.

Maserati Merak SS 1980

A 1969 Mustang Mach1 SCJ 428, followed by a much rarer Maserati Merak. Always professional and quick, despite the very specific cars. I would never have had a chance to reach these customers (Eastern Europe, then Germany for the last one) without CarJager's distribution capacity and reputation for reliability. An unbeatable service/price ratio. The cars were sold without being sold off, at the right price. The transporter appointed by CarJager took great care.
