History
This car was delivered new in Belgium. It was first registered on 20 January 1969, as evidenced by the Alfa Romeo Benelux certificate of conformity. Its current owner acquired it in 2006. He immediately began a complete restoration, which continued until 2010. The bodywork was entrusted to Antonacci Historic Racing Cars. The engine was rebuilt and balanced by Mastaracing. The car was subsequently granted its FIA Historic Technical Passport in 2011. It has taken part in track days at Spa-Francorchamps and Mettet, as well as in historic rallies. In 2023, Vintage & Racing Services brought it up to FIA standards for the Spa Summer Classic. There, it set a fastest lap of 3:32.117, before retiring due to a bearing failure. A complete restoration has since been carried out. The car’s eligibility and comprehensive preparation make it a very attractive prospect (Tour Auto, Peter Auto Championship, Alfa Revival Cup, etc.)

General state
This example is in very good overall condition.
The bodywork is in good condition and shows no signs of corrosion. The original green paintwork features a double yellow stripe integrated beneath the clear coat, a reference to the Belgian racing team run by the owner’s grandfather. The engine compartment and boot have been repainted. The 15-inch GTA-style aluminium wheels are in good condition. The headlights are clear. The chrome window trim is shiny. To save weight, the boot structure, the lower sections of the doors and the suspension arms have been hollowed out.
Inside the cabin, the fit and finish are meticulous. It features two OMP bucket seats with harnesses and an FIA-approved roll cage. The door panels have been lightened and the side windows are made of Plexiglas. An externally operated fire extinguisher and a circuit breaker complete the equipment. The instrument cluster is fully functional.
The 1750 4-cylinder engine is fed by two Weber 45 DCOE carburettors. It has been optimised for competition by Vintage Racing Services. The torque achieved through this tuning provides a perfect balance between power and durability.
The original engine block has been retained (matching numbers). A dynamometer test in July 2025 recorded 157 ch at 6,156 rpm and 199 Nm at 5,164 rpm. A new gearbox was fitted in 2023. The suspension geometry was re-adjusted in August 2025. Gear changes are smooth, with no synchro sticking. Road handling is excellent.
The original engine is in storage and ready for refitting. A set of racing tyres eligible for the Spa Classic is available. A set of 14-inch winter wheels is also available.
