History

This Aston Martin DB6 Coupé (#2352 R) is one of three pre-production chassis - "working cars" - developed by the factory in 1965. Sold in October 1965 to its first owner and registered LPP 88, its full history is known. The car has been in the hands of its current owner since 1988

General state

This DB6 MKI is an RDH manual gearbox in superb overall condition, with an eloquent dossier demonstrating rare historical and technical consistency.

External state

The car was fully restored in 1992, with bodywork and paintwork carried out by Christophe Graignic. The underpinnings are sound and the bodywork is in very good condition. The paintwork was redone in 2018 and looks particularly good. The gearbox is well matched numbers and the car is in its original colour.

Interior state

The black upholstery is original and has a nice patina. All the instruments are functional and the car has been driven regularly. The car is accompanied by an extensive file of invoices and it is interesting to note that the marque's specialists are well acquainted with the car: Aston Martin DORSET, HARPER etc...

Mechanical state

The current engine block is not the original one and was fitted to the car in 1992 by HARPER (the original split block is sold with the car). It is important to note that this block is confirmed to the series and works very well.
