History

This Austin Mini MK1 has benefited from a complete restoration under the supervision of its former owner. It has been completely dismantled, refurbished and modernised with a 1000cc engine in place of the original 850cc engine (which will be donated with the car). The restoration includes an extensive list of new parts: clutch, brakes, fuel tank, interior and much more. A file of detailed invoices attests to the work carried out.

This copy is in very good condition.

🚘The bodywork has been meticulously restored and is in immaculate condition. The full white paintwork, redone inside and out, offers a near-new finish. No notable defects are visible. The original wheels are in perfect condition, as are the headlights and mirrors, which add a touch of authenticity.

Particular attention has been paid to the interior, which has been completely refurbished using quality materials. The seats and upholstery are in impeccable condition, with no signs of wear. The on-board instrumentation works perfectly, offering vintage charm with a discreet modern touch.

🛠️Le 1000cc engine runs perfectly, with oil pressure in line with the manufacturer's recommendations. Starting is smooth from both hot and cold, and the engine delivers a distinctive sound. The manual gearbox is smooth and precise, with smooth gear changes. The recently replaced clutch ensures optimum driving comfort. The running gear, which has been completely rebuilt, and the chassis, which is in excellent condition, ensure impeccable roadholding.
