Delahaye Type 87 1927 / Manual

History: This Delahaye was delivered new in 1927 as a torpedo model. It has been owned by the same family for over 40 years, who purchased it at the Rétromobile show in Paris in 1989.

Condition:

General: This car is in good overall condition.

Exterior: The black and white bodywork presents well overall. The chrome trim has a slight patina but remains attractive. The headlights and rear lights are in good condition. The soft top and boot are also well preserved.

Interior: The interior has aged very well. The white leather upholstery is in excellent condition and all the dashboard instruments are in working order.

Mechanics: The engine runs correctly. However, it would require a service before taking the car out on the road. The gears change smoothly and the brakes are satisfactory, in keeping with the standards of the era.

Chassis and underbody: The chassis and the Delahaye wooden frame are sound. Photographs are available on request.
