Delahaye Type 87 1927 / Manual

History: This Delahaye was delivered new in 1927 in a torpedo version. It has been in the same family for over 40 years, having been acquired at the Rétromobile show in Paris in 1989.

Condition :

General: This car is in good overall condition.

Exterior: The white and black bodywork is generally in good condition. The chrome has a slight patina but is still beautiful. The headlights are in good condition. The soft top and rear boot are well preserved.

Interior: The interior has aged very well. The leather upholstery is in excellent condition and all the instruments work.

Powertrain: The engine is in good working order. However, it should be serviced before venturing out in the car. The gears shift well and the brakes are satisfactory, in line with the standards of the time.

Chassis and underpinnings: The Delahaye wooden chassis and frame are sound. Photos are available on request.
