History
The Facel Vega FV3 appeared in October 1956, succeeding the first FV coupés and reinforcing Facel's stature as a prestigious French manufacturer. True to the brand's philosophy, it combined elegant French bodywork with a powerful Chrysler V8 engine. In terms of styling, the FV3 series is notable for having introduced the superimposed double-headlamp configuration that was to become the visual signature of Facel cars. Extremely exclusive, only 46 examples of the FV3 were produced before being replaced by the FV3 B in 1957.
🇫🇷Notre is a narrow-bodied model of which only 26 were produced. The car was delivered new on 20 December 1956 to Saint-Saulve in the north of France for a wealthy industrialist. It subsequently passed through 7 successive hands before being purchased by the current owner in 2016.

This car is in very good condition.
The bodywork is in good condition. It was professionally restored several years ago. The paintwork has an even sheen and is tight. There are, however, some slight defects around the car. The Glacetex windscreen has been replaced. The "Robergel" wheels and "Marchal" headlights are in very good condition. There are no signs of major impact or pitting corrosion.
Inside, the weathered seats are in good condition. The painted dashboard is in good condition. This model is fitted with a Pathé Marconi radio. The headlining is tight. The instruments are functional.
⚙️Le Typhoon TY3 V8 engine starts and runs normally. The "Pont à Mousson" gearbox shifts smoothly. Road holding is very good.
