History
The Facel Vega FV3 was launched in October 1956, succeeding the early FV coupés and cementing Facel’s reputation as a prestigious French manufacturer. True to the brand’s philosophy, it combined elegant French bodywork with a powerful Chrysler V8 engine. In terms of aesthetics, the FV3 series is notable for introducing the stacked twin-headlight configuration that would become Facel’s visual signature. Extremely exclusive, only 46 examples of the FV3 were produced before it was replaced by the FV3 B in 1957.
🇫🇷Our model is a narrow-body version of which only 26 were produced. This car was delivered new on 20 December 1956 in Saint-Saulve in the Nord region to a wealthy industrialist. It subsequently passed through seven successive owners before being purchased by the current owner in 2016.

General state
This car is in very good overall condition.
The bodywork is in good condition. It was professionally restored several years ago. The paintwork has an even sheen and is well applied. However, there are some minor imperfections around the car. The “Glacetex” windscreen has been replaced. The “Robergel” alloy wheels and “Marchal” headlights are in very good condition. We can find no signs of major impact damage or perforating corrosion.
Inside, the weathered seats are in good condition. The painted dashboard is in good condition. This model is fitted with a “Pathé Marconi” radio. The headlining is taut. The instruments are in working order.
⚙️The Typhoon TY3 V8 engine starts and runs normally. The “Pont à Mousson” gearbox shifts smoothly. The road holding is very good.
