History
The Facel-Vega Facel III (type FB), produced between 1963 and 1964, was developed as a matter of urgency in response to criticisms of reliability and to reassure customers following the problems encountered by the Facellia. To remedy the situation, the old block was replaced by the Volvo B18-B 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine, renowned for its robustness and developing 108 bhp. This engine was mated to a Volvo gearbox, with optional overdrive, while retaining the Facellia's running gear. Aesthetically, it retained the general appearance of the previous model, but adopted a grille reminiscent of the Facel II, softened rear wings, a rounded boot lid and circular headlamps. Introduced in April 1963, it went on sale immediately, reflecting the company's desire to turn itself around. Six hundred and twenty-five examples were built (including 192 convertibles) before being replaced by the six-cylinder Facel 6.

This car is in very good condition. It has benefited from numerous expenses and regular servicing.
🚘The bodywork is in very good condition. The white paint is in very good condition. It offers a beautiful sheen and is tightly stretched. We can note the presence of a small scratch on the fender as well as a slight impact on the driver's door. The chrome bumpers, spoked wheels and headlights look good. The soft top was replaced in 2015 and is in very good condition.
The interior was redone 10 years ago. The seats are in very good condition. The painted dashboard is very well preserved. The bakelite steering wheel is in good condition. The carpets are in good condition. There is a slight defect on the driver's door sill. The instruments are functional.
⚙️Le Volvo's robust 4-cylinder engine starts and runs normally. The gearbox shifts smoothly. Road holding is good.
