This Ferrari 488 Spider is in a remarkable state of preservation, both aesthetically and mechanically. Always maintained with the utmost care, it has been used solely for leisure purposes – exclusively for leisurely drives – and has never been driven on a racetrack. Always garaged and owned by particularly meticulous owners, it is now in a condition befitting its low mileage.

Finished in the extremely rare and prestigious Blu Scozia colour, from the Ferrari Historical Colours programme, this 488 Spider immediately stands out from more conventional models. This historic paintwork enhances the 488’s lines and contrasts perfectly with its Cuoio interior. The bodywork displays excellent uniformity and a beautiful depth of colour. The numerous exposed carbon-fibre components reinforce its sporty character whilst emphasising the exclusivity of this specification. The 20-inch forged Diamond wheels are in immaculate condition, with no signs of scuffing.

The interior elegantly combines Cuoio leather with numerous carbon fibre inserts, creating an atmosphere that is both luxurious and decidedly sporty. The Daytona Racing seats, the leather centre console, the matching steering wheel, the meticulous stitching and the embroidered Cavallino on the headrests all bear witness to the level of personalisation of this particular car. The entire interior is in particularly good condition and shows no signs of excessive wear. Strictly a non-smoking vehicle.

This Ferrari has been fully serviced within the official Ferrari network since it was first registered. Servicing has always been carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, initially at Ferrari Marbella and Ferrari Stockholm, and subsequently exclusively at Charles Pozzi Paris. The twin-turbo V8 engine delivers its full power with remarkable reliability, whilst the F1 dual-clutch gearbox operates with exemplary speed and precision. The handling is impeccable and there are no faults to report.

The four Michelin tyres are in very good overall condition. They show even wear, estimated at just 30 per cent, ensuring they still have considerable remaining life. They are dated DOT 1325.

The braking system meets Ferrari’s excellent standards. The front brake pads show 35 per cent wear, whilst the rear pads show 25 per cent wear. The carbon-ceramic discs are also in excellent condition, with only 22 per cent wear at the front and 26 per cent at the rear, meaning they have a very long service life remaining before they need replacing.
