History
This Ford Mustang (model '66) was delivered in California in September 1965, where it spent its first four decades in the sun before being imported into Europe at the end of 2008.
It was acquired by its current owner in 2009, at which time it was still fitted with California plates. The car was already in very good condition and meticulously maintained.

Available in this rare "Ivy Green" livery only in 1965 and 1966, the car has its original 289ci Code A V8 block with its original 4-barrel carburettor (FoMoCo).
A rare feature of this Mustang is the period option of air conditioning (compressor and radiator dismantled but supplied).
Extensive mechanical work was carried out in 2010, including resurfacing and replacing the gaskets on the 2 cylinder heads, and fitting a dual exhaust system (H-Pipe) and electronic ignition. Since then, a new fan has been fitted to the car, the carburettor seals are new, the fuel pump has been changed and the complete ignition has been overhauled.
This Ford Mustang is in superb overall condition and well maintained. The CT has just been carried out and reveals no defects. This car will be sold with a 12-month CarJager mechanical warranty.
