This Ford Mustang Convertible was delivered new in the USA in February 1966. Having remained in the hands of its first owner, it arrived in France in 2019. It is a second-hand car with 68,000 original miles on the clock and is finished in a beautiful and rare light blue known as ‘Arcadia Blue’.

General state

Fitted with a 289ci V8 engine and a rare manual gearbox. It also retains its original Pony interior (a period option); the white soft top has been replaced, the tyres are new and the brakes are new. The car has just been serviced for sale and the cooling system has been overhauled.

Restored from top to bottom in the USA in 2010, this Mustang has been carefully maintained and is in very good overall condition: no rust, a sound body and no anachronisms. This is a car true to its original condition and will require no further expenditure. It has just undergone a major mechanical service during which the fluids were changed, the brake hoses replaced and it passed its MOT.

Importantly, the bodywork is in particularly good condition; the water drainage channels on the sills are not blocked, the alignment is good and the boot liner is original. The floor panels are original and sound (no stone chips or damage), though we note some surface oxidation.

A 1969 Mustang Mach1 SCJ 428, followed by a much rarer Maserati Merak. Always professional and quick, despite the very specific cars.
