History
This Mustang rolled off the production line at the San José factory on 30 March 1966, before being delivered to Los Angeles.
It spent its life in California's mild climate, which explains its excellent structural condition. The first owner kept it for over 50 years, until his death. The second owner is the current one, since it was imported into France in 2021. Decoding the "Date Plate" shows that it is in its original configuration.
📄 The car is registered in France, up to date, in the name of the current owner.

🚘 The bodywork in remarkable condition. The paintwork was redone a few years ago, carried out with care. The paint thicknesses are very satisfactory, proof of good background work. Rims and chrome are in very good condition.
The interior boasts the much sought-after 'Pony' upholstery, in two-tone red and white to match the exterior colour. The on-board equipment is fairly comprehensive, including air conditioning as an option, which is all the more interesting given that it works! To complete the range of options, it has an interior adjustment control for the driver's rear-view mirror, as well as warning lights, which were not yet compulsory at the time. The soft top is electric and deploys very well.
🔧Mechanically:
The engine works well and road holding is very satisfactory. Extensive refurbishment work was carried out when it was imported to France. More recently, the front axle and cooling system have been overhauled. The engine was last serviced in December 2024 (oil change, filters and spark plugs), so the car is up to date.
From a technical point of view, the GT pack includes front disc brakes for added safety. Power steering also contributes to driving comfort.
Structurally, the car is very sound.
Production date for front and rear tyres: 2019
