This Jaguar E-Type, delivered new to Canada in 1968, has belonged to its current owner since 1996. It has undergone extensive maintenance and repairs in recent years, most notably in 2024.
Conditions
With its 'Primrose Yellow' livery and black interior, this Jaguar is in good condition both cosmetically and mechanically.
Exterior
The bodywork is in good condition. The paintwork is well applied and looks good despite a few signs of wear in keeping with the vehicle's age. The spoked wheels, chrome components and headlights are in very good condition.
Interior
The interior is in its original condition but is still in good condition. The leather seats are cracked and distended, but without holes or tears. The dashboard and steering wheel are in very good condition. All the on-board equipment is functional.
Mechanical
The engine in this Jaguar is not original. However, it starts perfectly, does not overheat, its carburettors are well tuned and it delivers all its power. The associated gearbox is in excellent condition, with smooth, seamless gear changes. Over the last three years, nearly €50,000 has been invested in the vehicle to ensure its mechanical reliability.
