History
The Land Rover Series III, produced from 1971 to 1985, is the most manufactured version of the Land Rover Series, with approximately 440,000 units. The 109 model (wheelbase in inches) is the long-wheelbase version, often used as a utility or troop vehicle. Here, the designation "Bâché" indicates a body with a soft canvas top and roll bars. The 2.7-litre six-cylinder engine developed around 86 bhp. This version in this configuration makes it a fairly rare car on the market.
In 1976, it still embodied Land Rover's heritage as a simple, versatile and uncompromising off-road vehicle, widely used by the military and farmers.
This car was purchased new by Swiss firefighters. At that time, the vehicle was driven very little, but was meticulously serviced every year. This explains its near-new condition, without ever having been restored. 🇫🇷 It was subsequently imported to France in 2021. The current owner purchased it the same year.

Services on demand

After spending weekends in a camper van at automotive events with his grandparents and Sunday mornings watching Automoto with his father, Johan decided to turn his passion into a career. He began as an automotive technician before training in sales to join the CarJager universe. Probably born in the wrong era, he dreams as much of the British elegance of a Jaguar E-Type as of the emotion of a 1960s Ferrari. Today, he assists both sellers and buyers in bringing their projects to life, working with cars from the 1950s to the present day.
