History
Our example was delivered new to its owner in France in 1993. A report indicates that it has had six owners since then. The current owner acquired it in 2014 and had it fully restored by specialists. We estimate that around €25,000 has been spent on mechanical and cosmetic restoration work between 2016 and the present day.
The bodywork was completely stripped down for a full repaint in 2017. The chassis and floor panels were sandblasted before being repainted. This model is in excellent condition, a rarity on the market.
Condition:
Exterior: The bodywork, fully repainted in “Shire Blue”, has a beautiful sheen. The alloy wheels were repainted at the same time and are in near-new condition. The headlights, bumpers and windows are in excellent condition.
Interior: Overall, the original interior is well preserved and retains its period comfort. The fabric seats look good, whilst the carpets show some signs of wear due to the car’s age and mileage. The headlining has recently been replaced. The dashboard is in excellent condition, and all the instruments are fully functional.
Mechanics: The 4-cylinder Rover engine runs and starts perfectly, whether warm or cold. The gearbox shifts smoothly and without grinding. The suspension and braking components are in good condition.
Underbody: The structure and floor panels are in very good condition; photos are available on request.
